Vantage Yatala Project

About Vantage Yatala Project

Vantage Yatala is a $12.6 million, 60 Ha next-generation industrial precinct developments that aims to secure the Yatala region as one of the major distribution hubs for South East Queensland. It includes over 2.3 hectares of green open space, Solar PV integrated warehouses, and a 5 Green Star Rating for all facilities.

Pipe Infrastructure Capabilities

Allmach supplied Single and Dual Hydrant pillars & valves, 35mm stainless steel press-fit pipe and fittings, and 125 & 180mm PN16 Polyethylene (PE) fusion welded pipe and fittings. The PE pipe was used underground to supply the fire hydrant system following AS/NZ 4130 2003 standard. Surepress stainless steel was used above ground to supply the fire hose system, saving significant time and cost over the traditional labour-intensive threaded gal process. The Surepress system has Active Fire Certification, and the completed installation is aesthetically pleasing to suit the environment. To further streamline the installation process, Allmach supplied a fusion welder and scrapper for PE pipe, fittings, and tooling for the stainless steel press-fit system.

Challenges and Solutions

Critical challenges for the installation were short lead times and specific pipe and fittings requirements. Allmach’s comprehensive range of pipe, fittings, values, tooling and reliable delivery ensured the installer could complete the installation within the short timeframe.
