Nevmat AAPT Generator Fuel System Upgrade

Nevmat Australia worked with Allmach’s SurePress 316L stainless steel pressfit piping system to deliver a recent AAPT fuel system project. The upgrade encompassed existing data centre infrastructure, ensuring compliance with AS1940. The project included an onsite fuel filtration system with autonomous fuel quality monitoring and a generator upgrade.

Key challenges for the project included the infrastructure being in the basement of a building and therefore strategic logistical planning was required to ensure that the project could be carried out in a safe and professional manner. Nevmat utilised SurePress SS316L pressfit piping system. Pressfit advantages including making on site modifications and reducing installation time and cost: SurePress is 30% more cost-effective and 10% faster than traditional welding methods. In addition, the press fit system makes QA quick and easy with a visual press check sleeve and the system also requires no special tooling, welding, hot works permits or post treatment.
