Who expected 2022 to turn out how it did? Allmach reflects, with optimism for 2023
For many, the passing of another year is a time of reflection, gratitude and looking forward to the next year.
Few would disagree that 2022 was a tumultuous year globally and locally.
We came out of a global pandemic, sought to keep economies running, felt the impact of war from the other side of the world affect our day-to-day cost of living and witnessed a repeated cycle of floods across the East Coast of Australia.
It was also a time for resilience, compassion, and community support. We witnessed communities band together in flood relief efforts. We saw industries work hard to keep businesses and infrastructure projects going.
2022 was a big year for Allmach. Like many Australian businesses, we found operating during a pandemic challenging.
But we came out of it and realised how important living by your core values is. Things like teamwork, and remaining a supportive company internally, while also focusing externally on our customers and our community overall.
We worked hard to foresee supply issues with our overseas partners, making sure we had stock available to meet our customer’s needs.
We also pivoted to overcome micro and macro factors resulting from the pandemic, by increasing our fabrication to meet local demand after the covid shortfalls affected common supply chains.
We even met the increased demand by being environmentally sustainable in the process, using solar energy to power our in-house fabrication.
Why you find family values at the heart of this company
Quite often you’ll hear organisations mention a “family-like” environment.
At Allmach, not only are we a family founded and run company, but we value the aspects of what family truly means – we look out for and support one another. We’re inclusive. We try passing on our good fortune to others less fortunate. We carry these values from our family to yours.
One way we are doing this is via our Compassion Fund.
The Fund was created this year to support the health and well-being of those suffering from circumstances outside of their control and needing a compassionate helping hand to overcome adversity.
Broadly based around the areas of Food Security, Sick Children, Disaster Relief, Mental Health and Veterans, Allmach has monthly contributions together with an annual Charity Team Drive.
Our Compassion Fund aligns strongly with our core values and how we want to be in the world. We’ve seen first-hand how even small efforts have big results for the communities we support, but also our staff morale and wellbeing. It’s helped our team feel more connected to the communities we serve and live in. It allows us to reinforce our team values of service and ownership.
We are so fortunate to be able to give back through this company-wide initiative.
All in all, 2022 was a successful year for Allmach
