Allmach’s Surepress 316L Stainless Steel Press-fit Systems are of exceptional quality and offers the corrosion and wash-down properties of traditional stainless-steel systems with many additional benefits.
Recognising this, SurePress has been the chosen system for the new Maitland Hospital; a NSW Government’s $470 million project designed to meet the growing health service needs for the surrounding communities of the Hunter Valley now and into the future.
Receiving approximately 15 kilometres of SurePress piping since May, contractors have used SurePress on the Maitland project for all the water & gas services because of the speed of install and less labour on site. The attached pictures are of the prefabricated risers which were built off site.
The speed of install results from the innovative “no leak solution” which is unique to SurePress, and this consists of a press-check sleeve in the form of a blue plastic film that is applied to the outer seat of the o-ring. This film tears and falls away when the fitting is pressed, enabling the easy identification of any unpressed fittings.
The new Maitland Hospital is on track to open in early 2022.
